Every year, our annual VIP evening offers you insightful talks and plenty of time to meet with your peers. As Covid-19 is still part of our daily lives, however, we converted the event into two highly inspirational webinars, held on two evenings: 23 September and 28 October.
The first evening, featuring ethical hacker Inti De Ceukelaire was a great success. Even if you registered for the first VIP webinar, please make sure to register for the second evening as well, featuring Kris Vervaet, CEO of DPG Media. During the event, you’ll have the chance to pose your questions to the speaker.
The link to participate will be provided to you 2 days before the event.
28 October, Kris Vervaet (CEO at DPG Media), Being the local champion
Tech giants such as Google and Facebook have disrupted media markets all over the world. To counter these companies, DPG Media acts as a local champion of content and advertising. The organisation behind Qmusic, VTM, Humo, Het Laatste Nieuws, HLN.be, Story, Dag Allemaal, De Morgen, and more, recently announced their exciting plans for more local content on their television channels. It aims to continuously innovate new digital products, ways of working and talent, while managing its legacy business.
Kris Vervaet will explain how DPG Media built and rolled out this dual transformation strategy, supporting its goal to be a successful market leader in online and offline media.
Kris Vervaet is a highly experienced manager with a demonstrated history of working in the telecom, energy and media industry. As a strong business development professional (with an Executive Program focused on an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business), he finds his professional energy in leading teams through important transformation and innovation cycles.
