As the first employee of Google Belgium, Gabriel co-founded Semetis in 2009, rapidly establishing it as the Belgian leader in digital marketing consultancy. His pioneering vision transformed the industry landscape, and Semetis was later acquired and integrated into Omnicom Media Group. Gabriel’s journey began as the first employee of Google Belgium, setting the stage for his impactful career in the digital realm.

In 2009 he founded Semetis, a digital marketing powerhouse that quickly rose to prominence under his visionary leadership. While integrating Semetis within Omnicom Media Group, Gabriel acted as OMD Belgium Managing Director. He has been instrumental in accelerating the digital integration at OMD Belgium.

In 2019, Gabriel and partner Nicolas Debray launched Hakacia, a coaching platform supporting Belgian scale-ups. They continued to support Semetis and elevate talent until late 2023 when they sold all remaining shares to Omnicom Media Group giving it full control over Semetis. Gabriel actively contributes to the industry, serving as a Leadership Coach, Director, Business Angel, and Investor.

He is a Board Member of the Brussels Chamber of Commerce (BECI), representing the digital industry. Additionally, Gabriel is involved in The Dot Society, a leading force in Fashion/Beauty Digital Marketing. Gabriel’s influence extends beyond his roles; he regularly shares industry insights in publications like MM and Pub.
