BMMA September Lunch – Thierry Geerts

Thierry Geerts intends to put Belgium on the digital world map. He has selected the medium of a printed book to inform us, as well as to inspire and encourage us to embrace all of the opportunities that digital has to offer. He invites us to “reinvent the world” – legitimately, practically and quickly. Now, for the BMMA, Thierry Geerts will be explaining his approach and detailing why he believes in Belgium’s potential. During the lunch he will tell us about the best technological innovations to use.

And to delve more deeply into the subject, right after lunch, as a “boost” Thierry will be showcasing 3 start-ups that set an example in terms of digital innovation in the areas of Retail, Education and Mobility, 3 cases that will be presented to you during the interactive session in the afternoon.

These will be presented by:

  • Retail (Lionel Soccal, Industry Manager, Google Belgium),
  • Education (Stephan Salberter, Managing Director, Ecole19),
  • Media (Donald Staar, Founder, Look Live Media).

At the conclusion of this BMMA Boost, you will be offered “Digitalis”, the book by Thierry Geerts. In this book he will further persuade you to journey down the paths of disruption and innovation.
